Birthday - Born February 8, 2009
My name is Amy and I'm mommy to a beautiful angel, Alexis Paige. On Friday
February 6th 2009 I went to my appointment like normal. The Dr came in and
told me I tested positive for Group B Strep, but that it would be treated and was
no big deal. He went through the normal checks, but couldn't seem to find a
heartbeat. He told me sometimes the baby is in a bad position and sent me for
an ultrasound. When I got back to the office my fiance, Russ, and I were told our
little girl had no heartbeat. I was scheduled for an induction the next afternoon.
On February 7th I was at the hospital and they started the process around 4pm.
On the morning of February 8th 2009 at 9:22am my angel, Alexis Paige, came
silently into the world. There were no cord problems or placenta problems. Sadly
to this day we still have no reason as to why our little girl passed. She was
absolutely perfect and beautiful. I miss her more than anything. I have learned
that just because she is gone doesn't mean that my love for her is.
I love her very much and know she's looking out for her family. RIP my sweet
angel, you will live forever in our hearts.
